I love a Dunes Manor Wedding and this beautiful celebration was held on a perfect August evening. The couple exchanged vows on the veranda and strategically placed the shutters to block out some of the boardwalk from behind them. Guests gathered for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as we finished up portraits and carried the party into the ballroom. DJ Greg lit up the evening with some amazing jams and a super fun photobooth that I think everyone hit at least a few times. Congratulations Michael & Sherry, it was amazing to spend the day with you and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

What a beautiful celebration at Lighthouse Sound in Bishopville, MD. The threat off rain hung through most of the day but just before ceremony time we got a clear 40min window for the exchange of vows under the gazebo before retreating for cover from the falling drops at the end. What an amazing event at Lighthouse Sound. Overlooking the Ocean City, MD skyline the couple exchanged vows on what was a beautiful summer day! With a gentle breeze coming off of the water the weather was just perfect and any threat of rain held off for the entire day. After a fun first look on the back patio we took off on a golf cart excursion to get portraits on many of the Lighthouse Sound picturesque spots before retreating back to the venue and greeting friends and guests. Justin & Carolyn were married at a beautiful venue nestled right in the Ocean Pines Community. We started the day getting ready in the bride and groom suite before heading out to the deck for the wedding ceremony. The bride walked down the aisle with her father and daughter before meeting the groom at the altar. The couple exchanged vows with Alison of Alison to the Altar officiating and included a sand ceremony into their wedding ceremony. Guests were treated to Ocean Pines Yacht Club appetizers and dishes while we finished up with some family and wedding portraits before kicking the party off up stairs with DJ Tonez. Just in & Carolyn enjoyed an evening of dancing, good food, music, a cake smash and dessert bar and finished out with even more dancing.

What a fun wedding! The couple got married in the middle of downtown Salisbury Plaza and it was a gorgeous afternoon. After getting ready in much of the Salisbury Plaza we made our way out between raindrops to grab some quick portraits before heading to the ceremony. When she started to walk down the aisle her sweet little girl came running back towards her and back up front, it was incredibly touching and not a dry eye was seen around. After the ceremony and fun portraits done around the plaza we went upstairs to the Delmarvelous Occasions Reception hall for a fun evening of dancing, drinks and cake and ending with a few night portraits around the area. What a crazy afternoon of every kind of weather imaginable. After more than two straight weeks of rain on the Eastern Shore everyone's eyes were on the skies on the day of May 14th. The bride got ready in the Riviera Suite at the Edge at Fager's Island. The suite was one of the most gorgeous places in town, lots of vaulted windows and natural light pouring into the room! The water views were pretty sweet too.
When we got to the Golden Sands the place was set up and ready for a perfect intimate ceremony right on the sand but away from wandering tourists from crossing the path of my lens behind them. The air was a little crisp but it felt good against the warm sun peaking around the sides of the building. Once the I Do's were said we walked down to the beach for some fun portraits and made it into the reception hall just in time for the skies to open up and fall down. High winds picked up and moved the arbor onto it's side and flipped chairs while we were in the safety of the building above. Once the storm passed the most beautiful of sunsets complete with a double rainbow shadowed around the building, it was incredible. The couple danced the night away with friends and family to the entertainment stylings of Steve Moody who kept everyone on their feet. What a great night, congratulations Sean & Megan, I was so happy to be a part of your special day!

A fairytale wedding, I was smitten when she hired me and told me about the colors of gold and blush shades or lavender and purples that would adorn her wedding day! Having rain a full few days before and following the event we totally lucked out with a drop free wedding day! The ceremony was held at Sunset Park and the coolest part about it was having our own private little beach behind the venue to do a few portraits after the ceremony. The skies turned gorgeous during our portraits together and we had such a great night full of dancing and partying. My favorite part of the reception was when the DJ played the Penn State song for the crowd to go nuts singing later in the evening. What a great time! What a fun wedding for this couple! With a very cool hashtag and some of the best music at their reception, they danced their first dance to "Come What May" from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. There were touches of peach and mint flowers with beautiful bouquets from The City Florist in Salisbury. The cake was a mere masterpiece done by Miss Patti Cakes in Ocean Pines, it followed the King & Queen Chess theme that played in different ways throughout the night. We were able to capture a few photos just at sunset with the cool lights of the parking lot and oncoming cars accenting in the background. Congratulations to this beautiful couple as we kick off the 2016 wedding season!

What an amazing day for this sweet couple as they said their I Do's on a Fall Afternoon near Ocean City. Located just minutes outside of Ocean City the ceremony was held in Historic St. Mary's Church followed by a reception at the Golden Sands Hotel in Ocean City. The bride was driven in style in the Groom's father's mustang convertible and we enjoyed the musical stylings of DJ Wax at the reception. What an incredible wedding! I was excited to work with this fun couple from our first conversation on the phone. When I arrived up to the ceremony site and saw the hay bales set up for seating and cool floral decor and burlap, I swooned for what was to come. This beautiful bride cried so many happy tears on her wedding day and I was so excited to see such a happy and in love couple just ready to spend the rest of their lives together. We shared a fun evening and dreamy sunset together and I learned more and more about the two of them as the night went on and just adored them even more the more I learned. Joaquin couldn't take the glory out of this party, that is for sure! After a week of anticipating a possible hurricane striking the shore, this wedding went off with much to celebrate at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City, MD. The ceremony was moved inside and the chairs looked beautiful as they lined the middle of the reception hall. Guests were moved to a Garden Bar where preparations could begin for the reception once cocktail hour concluded. Jim Baker for Steve Moody Entertainment rocked the house and kept the party going strong, everyone had a great time at what would be a very memorable time in Ocean City for all!

What an amazing day! A gorgeous sunset wedding on the beach in the Ocean City Inlet followed by a rocking out reception at Harrison's Harborwatch with Big Bang Baby. The groom surprised his bride with one of her favorite bands ever playing at their reception, her look when she saw them for the first time was priceless. They planned a very cool rendition of Thinking Out Loud for their first song and kept the party going strong all night with her favorite hits. We snuck away for a few evening shots after nightfall, it was a very fun wedding to be apart of!

What an amazing day! After anticipating high winds and rain all week, the weather was pristine for this beautiful Delaware wedding. The skies cleared with no rain and very little wind, the afternoon was just gorgeous! We start the evening at Mt Olivet Church in Seaford, DE, the stained glass windows and ornate doors in the church provided a most romantic setting for this couple to say their vows in! We moved the party to Del-Tech Student Center where the Pros DJ rocked the house and the guests got to dance and let loose. The peacock colors were so pretty and colorful and vibrant and the reception decor really popped! So happy for this beautiful couple as they start their new life together <3

What a day, the days that fairytales are made of, for real. When I arrived I heard about trucks being stuck on sand that day, items arriving broken or wrong, having to walk a mile on the beach to set up because of said stuck trucks, you name it - it went wrong. The biggest being the loss of the grooms ring on the sand on the way to the ceremony. Needless to say, this my friends is what real fairytales look like. Getting through the adversity, going through trials with your best friend with a smile on your face and sand under your toes, knowing your ring is lost on the sand and still looking into your love's eyes with wonderment and excitement and trusting that everything will be ok because my friends everything will be ok. The ring was found and cheers could be heard down the beach as these two lovebirds delighted with joy. What a beautiful evening wedding right on the beach, the sunset was absolutely gorgeous and the air just the right temperature on this gorgeous September evening.
Jonathan & Jamie are Married - Fenwick Inn, Peaky's | Ocean City, MD
What an incredible afternoon wedding for Jamie and Jonathan. After torrential rains for more than two days persisted in Ocean City, the ceremony was moved inside and it turned out to be gorgeous on the top floor of the Fenwick Inn Hotel. Jamie got ready in the honeymoon suite and that overlooked Coastal Highway and Ocean City beaches. The lighting was perfection that poured into the hotel room for her hair and make up. The ceremony was on one side of the venue with white folding chairs and a beautiful decorated arbor and the reception took place not he other side of the hall and was gorgeous with white satin covers on the chairs and hot pink accents to match her bridesmaid's dresses and decor. While the rain did change up our plans it sure added a nice touch to their couples portraits on the balcony overlooking the nightlife lights of Ocean City. A most exquisite afternoon with Casey and Matt at the Weatherly Farm in Southern Maryland. Kyle and I made the drive over from the Eastern Shore and after watching the clouds all morning and a few drops of rain around noon, the skies opened up for a dreamy afternoon outdoor wedding complete with a sunset that they could only have dreamed about happening on their wedding night. The grounds at the Weatherly were stunning with a suite for Casey to get ready in as well as an old barn on the property. She chose beautiful decor made up of navy blue and some pink to adorn the areas with. I loved the special garter she chose and her dress was simply divine.
